5 years of LSU
LSU celebrated its 5 year anniversary at Alhamra Art Council in 2018. The keynote speaker of the event was Justice (R) Nasira Iqbal who talked about the importance of community service and her experience of working with LSU. It also featured speeches and panel discussions by LSU’s partners and volunteers to highlight the work done by them through LSU’s various programs.
The event also included an art exhibition designed to create awareness about the sheer talent the kids at their partner underprivileged schools and orphanages have demonstrated over the past years as well as to showcase the creativity of the transgender community and other beneficiaries through various skills they have mastered over time.

LSU and The Grief Directory organised an exciting panel discussion about the 'Role of New Media in Highlighting the Alternate Narrative' The panel featured diverse speakers from local and international media organisations

LSU's Seminar On Style 2013
LSU's first event brought the renowned Australian debater Dr. Simon Quinn to Lahore for a short seminar on style in the parliamentary debates format. Held at the South Asain Free Media Center at SAFMA, students from across Lahore took part to witness a debate on the motion "This House Supports Free Trade with India". The event was attended by LSU instructors and students, as well as a number of external participants.
